The new Creation Museum recently opened in Petersburg, KY (summer vacation, mom and dad?) as an attempt to promote creationism at the expense of evolution. There is a wonderful review that can be read here. Perhaps my favorite exhibit from the museum is when they attempt to rationalize incest. I guess they sorta painted themselves into a corner with the whole 'Adam and Eve's kids must have married each other ' situation and had some 'splaining to do. Here's why they think it's okay to boink your brother/sister/cousin/relative...
Notice how they never actually say incest is wrong. They just kinda say "it was okay back then" and "if you try it today you may have mongoloid babies". Those crazy creationists!

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!
How do "Creationists" rationalize this quote...
"The farther back in history one goes, the less of a problem mutations in the human population would be. At the time of Adam and Eve's children, there would have been very few mutations in the human genome."
This very quote from their own attempts to rationalize an irrational position rebukes Creationism altogether!!! What the hell do they think the human genome is? How can you acknowledge the human genome and mutations yet deny evolution?
These guys crack me up. I can't wait for our 1st random comment from an anonymous idiot who searched for "evolution" and stumbled across our blog. It will be coming!
One other thing... The pics from the article show they believe in dinosaurs, yet also believe the World in 6000 years old. How do they explain the carbon dating of the bones???
